My best friend Dave Allen and I have been making music together since the '60s.  We recorded these songs during several of our Friday night jam sessions.

'You're So Mean' is written to all the folks who are proud of that.  It's nothing to be proud of.

'Hungry for Love' was obviously written in-between girlfriends.  We all go through something similar, I expect.

'Everybody Used To' is about one excuse for bad habits that I used to hear.  Probably used it myself...

'Busy' is a song I wrote way back in the '70s about one way of avoiding life.

'Rebound' was a complaint song about relationships I kept ending up in.  For many years it seemed that was the only thing available!

'Disgusting' is a song I co-wrote with Dave back in the '80s.  We wanted to note that we like people who are 'different'!

'Joe's Song' was also co-written with Dave, this one wa-a-a-y back in the early '70s.  It's actually a true story that happened to him when he was living in Maine (I  note the Statute of Limitations has long ago expired).  I just helped him put it to rhyme.

Note: 'Disgusting' and 'Joes Song' copyright Michael P Fields and David E Allen.
